Due to increasing longevity, the population of the United States is aging. The growth of the aging population may add significant stress to the health care industry. Another population that is growing rapidly is returning military veterans and their families.
- Describe the special considerations and challenges in addressing the educational needs of either the aging or the veteran population.
- Describe the trends in U.S. health care services demands and associated cost issues caused by the population.
