WEEK 1 Signature Assignment – Reference Chart (Due Monday)
You have been recognized as an expert on the various types of businesses. A community college instructor has asked for your help. She wants you to create a reference document she can give to students as they study this topic.
You will need to do the following to complete this task.
Create a chart containing the three forms of business organizations: a proprietorship, a partnership, and a corporation.
Next, explain the details:
Include a detailed description of each form of business listed above.
Each organization has key users such as CFO, CEO, COO, Directors, Managers, Financial Analysts and other Administrators that utilize the financial statements.
Identify the key users and explain their role in the business.
Describe how the key users within each organization use fundamental concepts of accounting in the health care environment.
APA FORMATTING: You must cite your sources in APA format within the text of the document. Then list the references on a reference page in APA format. You must use at least 2 peer-reviewed, scholarly, or similar references to support your assignment. You can use the textbook as one of your references. A link to the CWE is below. There you will find a plethora of information on APA formatting guidelines.
GUIDANCE: How to create the chart or table:
You can create a chart in PPT. Create a chart showing the 3 different forms of business organizations. Then, add a paragraph in the speaker notes with the answers to the items listed above.
You can create a table in Microsoft WORD that lists out the 3 forms of business organization’s and then add the answers to the items listed above in separate columns.
Any way you want to create the chart for Week 1 Assignment is fine as long as each form of business is shown (as discussed in Chapter 1) and the details are included either in the chart or in a narrative after the chart.
