The most recent Iraqi conflict, known as the Second Iraqi War or Second Gulf War, was initiated by the United States Bush Administration, based primarily on the premise that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction. The paper should cover two areas. First, after examining your readings for this week, examine the extent to which this claim was an accurate one. Second, do your readings suggest any other reasons beyond the belief that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, for the United States going to war in 2003? Be sure to cover both areas in your paper.
